Ramadan is one of the most important months for Indonesians. Given that the vast majority of Indonesians are Muslims, a large portion of the population celebrates Ramadan. Many different activities and routines are carried out during the Holy Month, including fasting, iftar gatherings, suhoor, and shopping for the Eid al-Fitr celebration. This leads to shifts in consumption patterns and spending habits. Thus, Populix conducted a survey of 1,022 Muslim respondents in Indonesia to capture their habits in preparing for Ramadan, such as food consumption, shopping behavior, and financial planning.
